SciXchange is currently an early-stage prototype. These policies describe intended prototype behavior and may be updated before any formal public launch.
We are a community of researchers committed to open science, mutual respect, and responsible sharing. Every material you list or request represents a trust relationship.
List materials accurately. If a material has limitations, known issues, or restrictions, disclose them. Misrepresentation damages the community.
SciXchange is a discovery and connection platform. All legal and compliance responsibilities, including the execution of MTAs, remain strictly between the providing and receiving parties and their respective institutions.
If you receive a request for a material you have listed, respond in a timely manner — even if the answer is no. Radio silence is disrespectful to fellow researchers.
If a material you received from SciXchange contributes to a publication or grant, consider acknowledging the provider and citing the platform.
Report misuse, inaccurate listings, or bad actors at hello@scixchange.com. Community health is a shared responsibility.
